A vulnerability classified as problematic was found in Quick Page Post Redirect up to 5.0.3. Affected by this vulnerability is some unknown functionality of the component Redirect Plugin. Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability in the Quick Page/Post Redirect plugin before 5.0.5 for WordPress allows remote attackers to hijack the authentication of administrators for requests that conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks via the quickppr_redirects[request][] parameter in the redirect-updates page to wp-admin/admin.php.
The weakness was published 01/05/2015 by Tom Adams (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at wordpress.org. This vulnerability is known as CVE-2014-2598 since 03/24/2014. The attack can be launched remotely. The exploitation doesn't need any form of authentication. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction.
