A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in OSClass up to 3.4.1. Affected by this issue is the function Search::setJsonAlert. The manipulation of the argument alert with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in the Search::setJsonAlert method in OSClass before 3.4.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the alert parameter in a search alert subscription action.
The weakness was released 01/05/2015 by Egidio Romano (Website). The advisory is shared for download at blog.osclass.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2014-8083 since 10/09/2014.
