A vulnerability has been found in OSClass up to 3.4.1 and classified as critical. This vulnerability affects the function CWebContact::doModel of the component File Upload. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a remote code execution vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-434. Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in the CWebContact::doModel method in oc-includes/osclass/controller/contact.php in OSClass before 3.4.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a file with a PHP extension, then accessing it via a direct request to the file in an unspecified directory.
The weakness was presented 01/05/2015 by Egidio Romano (Website). The advisory is available at securityfocus.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-8085 since 10/09/2014. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details and also a public exploit are known.
