Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in inc/amfphp/administration/banneruploaderscript.php in the WP EasyCart (aka WordPress Shopping Cart) plugin before 3.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with an executable extension, then accessing it via a direct request to the file in products/banners/.

The weakness was shared 01/15/2015 by Kacper Szurek (Website). The advisory is available at wordpress.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-9308 since 12/07/2014. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1608.002 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.

A public exploit has been developed by Kacper Szurek and been published before and not just after the advisory. It is possible to download the exploit at exploit-db.com.
