A vulnerability was found in WP EasyCart up to 3.0.7 (WordPress Plugin). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the component Administration. Unrestricted file upload vulnerability in inc/amfphp/administration/banneruploaderscript.php in the WP EasyCart (aka WordPress Shopping Cart) plugin before 3.0.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code by uploading a file with an executable extension, then accessing it via a direct request to the file in products/banners/.
The weakness was shared 01/15/2015 by Kacper Szurek (Website). The advisory is available at wordpress.org. This vulnerability was named CVE-2014-9308 since 12/07/2014. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. The successful exploitation requires a single authentication. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. This vulnerability is assigned to T1608.002 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
