A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in OpenSSL 0.9.8/1.0.0/1.0.1/1.0.2 (Network Encryption Software). This affects the function X509_to_X509_REQ. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-476.
