A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Yuba U5cms up to 3.9.2. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the file u5admin/deletefile.php of the component admin/. The manipulation of the argument f with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. Directory traversal vulnerability in u5admin/deletefile.php in u5CMS before 3.9.4 allows remote attackers to write to arbitrary files via a (1) .. (dot dot) or (2) full pathname in the f parameter.
