Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) software 8.7.1 and 8.7.1.1 for the Cisco ASA 1000V Cloud Firewall allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (device reload) via a malformed H.225 H.323 IPv4 packet, aka Bug IDs CSCuc42812 and CSCuc88741.

The weakness was disclosed 01/16/2013 with Cisco as 113496 as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2012-5419 since 10/17/2012. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not available.
