Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in F5 BIG-IP 11.0.0/11.1.0/11.2.0/11.2.1 (Firewall Software). This issue affects an unknown code of the file sam/admin/reports/php/saveSettings.php of the component Accelerator. The manipulation of the argument defaultQuery with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in sam/admin/reports/php/saveSettings.php in the (1) APM WebGUI in F5 BIG-IP LTM, GTM, ASM, Link Controller, PSM, APM, Edge Gateway, and Analytics and (2) AVR WebGUI in WebAccelerator and WOM 11.2.x before 11.2.0-HF3 and 11.2.x before 11.2.1-HF3 allow remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the defaultQuery parameter.
