A vulnerability was found in Apple MacOS X up to 10.10.2 (Operating System) and classified as critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code of the component QuickLook. iWork in Apple iOS before 8.3 and Apple OS X before 10.10.3 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted iWork file.

This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-1098 since 01/16/2015. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
