The weakness was shared 04/29/2015 by Sebastian Andrzej Siewior as ClamAV 0.98.7 has been released! as confirmed release notes (Blog). The advisory is shared at blog.clamav.net. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-2170 since 03/01/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
