A vulnerability was found in Google Chrome 43 (Web Browser). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the component Libvpx. The weakness was disclosed 05/19/2015 by Atte Kettunen (Cloudfuzzer) with Zero Day Initiative as Stable Channel Update, May 2015 as confirmed release notes (Website). The advisory is shared for download at googlechromereleases.blogspot.ch. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-1258 since 01/21/2015. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
