A vulnerability was found in Adobe Flash Player up to 18.0.0.x (Multimedia Player Software). It has been declared as critical. This vulnerability affects an unknown function of the component ASLR. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a information disclosure vulnerability. The CWE definition for the vulnerability is CWE-200. The product exposes sensitive information to an actor that is not explicitly authorized to have access to that information. As an impact it is known to affect confidentiality, integrity, and availability. CVE summarizes:
Adobe Flash Player before 13.0.0.292 and 14.x through 18.x before 18.0.0.160, Adobe AIR before 18.0.0.144, Adobe AIR SDK before 18.0.0.144, and Adobe AIR SDK & Compiler before 18.0.0.144 on 64-bit Windows 7 systems do not properly select a random memory address for the Flash heap, which makes it easier for attackers to conduct unspecified attacks by predicting this address.
The weakness was released 06/10/2015 by Chris Evans with Google Project Zero as APSB15-11 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at helpx.adobe.com.
