Eval injection vulnerability in the HttpCache class in HttpKernel in Symfony 2.x before 2.3.27, 2.4.x and 2.5.x before 2.5.11, and 2.6.x before 2.6.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary PHP code via a language="php" attribute of a SCRIPT element.
The weakness was presented 06/24/2015 by Takeshi Terada with Mitsui Bussan Secure Directions, Inc. (Website). The advisory is shared for download at symfony.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-2308 since 03/16/2015. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1059.
Upgrading to version 2.3.27, 2.5.11 or 2.6.6 eliminates this vulnerability.
