A vulnerability was found in Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 (Web Browser). It has been classified as critical. Affected is the function LsGetTrailInfo. Use-after-free vulnerability in Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a crafted web site that triggers access to a deleted object, aka "Internet Explorer LsGetTrailInfo Use After Free Vulnerability."
The weakness was presented 02/12/2013 as MS13-009 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-0022 since 11/27/2012. It is possible to launch the attack remotely.
