A vulnerability was found in Moodle 2.7/2.8/2.9 (Learning Management Software). It has been classified as critical. This affects some unknown processing of the component Referer Handler. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a redirect vulnerability (Phishing). CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-601. A web application accepts a user-controlled input that specifies a link to an external site, and uses that link in a Redirect. This simplifies phishing attacks. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-3272 since 04/10/2015. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
