A vulnerability was found in Kaseya Virtual System Administrator up to 7.0.0.28/8.0.0.17/9.0.0.13/9.1.0.3 and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality. Directory traversal vulnerability in Kaseya Virtual System Administrator (VSA) 7.x before 7.0.0.29, 8.x before 8.0.0.18, 9.0 before 9.0.0.14, and 9.1 before 9.1.0.4 allows remote authenticated users to read arbitrary files via a crafted HTTP request.
The weakness was disclosed 07/20/2015 (Website). The advisory is shared at kb.cert.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2015-2862 since 04/03/2015. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1006 for this issue.
