A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in Google Chrome up to 43.0.2357.134 (Web Browser). This affects an unknown code of the file content/browser/gpu/browser_gpu_channel_host_factory.cc of the component GPU Process. The weakness was presented 07/23/2015 by Chamal De Silva (Cloudfuzzer) with Baidu X-Team as Stable Channel Update, July 2015 as confirmed release notes (Blog). The advisory is shared at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2015-1272 since 01/21/2015. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details are known, but no exploit is available. The price for an exploit might be around USD $5k-$25k at the moment (estimation calculated on 06/03/2022). It is expected to see the exploit prices for this product increasing in the near future.
