A vulnerability was found in Apple Mac OS X up to 10.10.4 (Operating System). It has been declared as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown code of the component IOFireWireFamily. The weakness was published 08/11/2015 by Maxime Villard with Google Security Team as HT205031 as confirmed advisory (Website). The advisory is shared for download at support.apple.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2015-3771 since 05/07/2015. The attack needs to be approached locally. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation.
