A vulnerability was found in pfSense up to 2.2.2 (Firewall Software). It has been rated as problematic. This issue affects an unknown function of the file services_captiveportal_zones.php of the component WebGUI. Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the WebGUI in pfSense before 2.2.3 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the zone parameter in a del action to services_captiveportal_zones.php.

Upgrading to version 2.2.3 eliminates this vulnerability.
