Microsoft Windows 8, Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012 Gold and R2, Windows RT Gold and 8.1, and Windows 10 do not properly constrain impersonation levels, which allows local users to gain privileges via a crafted application, aka "Windows Task Management Elevation of Privilege Vulnerability," a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-2524.
The weakness was shared 09/08/2015 by James Forshaw with Google Project Zero as MS15-102 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2015-2528 since 03/19/2015. The exploitability is told to be easy. Local access is required to approach this attack. A authentication is needed for exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
