Microsoft Internet Explorer 9 through 11 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted web site, aka "Memory Corruption Vulnerability," a different vulnerability than CVE-2015-2485 and CVE-2015-2491.
The weakness was disclosed 09/08/2015 by 0016EECD9D7159A949DAD3BC17E0A939 with Zero Day Initiative as MS15-097 as confirmed bulletin (Technet). The advisory is available at technet.microsoft.com. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-2541 since 03/19/2015. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation.
