Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in index.exp in McAfee Vulnerability Manager 7.5 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the cert_cn cookie parameter.
The weakness was presented 03/08/2013 by Asheesh Anaconda as File 120721/McA as confirmed advisory (Packetstorm). The advisory is shared for download at packetstormsecurity.com. The public release happened without coordination with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-5094 since 08/09/2013. The exploitation appears to be easy. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
