The weakness was released 03/11/2013 by Nico Waisman as Infiltrate Preview - TrueType Font Fuzzing and Vulnerability as not defined blog post (Website). The advisory is shared for download at immunityproducts.blogspot.ch. The public release happened without coordination with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-2558 since 03/12/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are unknown but a private exploit is available.
