Messages in Apple Mac OS X before 10.8.3 allows remote attackers to bypass the FaceTime call-confirmation prompt via a crafted FaceTime: URL.

The weakness was shared 03/14/2013 by Aaron Sigel with vtty.com as HT5672 as confirmed advisory (Apple Security Announce). The advisory is available at support.apple.com. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-0970 since 01/10/2013. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
