A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Google Android up to 4.4.3/5.0.1/5.1.0 (Smartphone Operating System). This issue affects some unknown functionality of the component Bluetooth. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a access control vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-264. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

The weakness was disclosed 04/04/2016 as ANDROID-26551752 as confirmed security bulletin (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at source.android.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-0850 since 12/16/2015. The attack can only be initiated within the local network. A simple authentication is required for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1068 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
