Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in Apache JetSpeed up to 2.3.0. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file services/usermanager/users/ of the component User Manager Service. The manipulation of the argument role/user with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability. The summary by CVE is:
Multiple SQL injection vulnerabilities in the User Manager service in Apache Jetspeed before 2.3.1 allow remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the (1) role or (2) user parameter to services/usermanager/users/.
