A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, was found in MySource (affected version not known). Affected is some unknown functionality of the file edit_table_cell_type_wysiwyg.php. The manipulation of the argument stylesheet with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on integrity.
The bug was discovered 09/30/2005. The weakness was presented 10/18/2005 by Secunia Security Advisories with Secunia (Website). The advisory is available at secunia.com. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim.
