Mozilla Firefox before 46.0 on Android before 5.0 allows attackers to bypass intended Signature access requirements via a crafted application that leverages content-provider permissions, as demonstrated by reading the browser history or a saved password.
The weakness was presented 04/26/2016 as MFSA 2016-41 as confirmed security advisory (Website). The advisory is shared at mozilla.org. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-2810 since 03/01/2016. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely.
