A vulnerability was found in Wizz Forum (Forum Software) (version now known). It has been classified as critical. Affected is some unknown processing of the file ForumReply.php. The manipulation of the argument TopicID with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. This is going to have an impact on confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The weakness was released 11/12/2005 by HACKERS PAL (Website). The advisory is available at archives.neohapsis.com. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2005-3682.
