A vulnerability was found in Accellion File Transfer Appliance up to FTA_9_12 (File Transfer Software) and classified as critical. This issue affects some unknown functionality of the file home/seos/courier/security_key2.api. The manipulation of the argument client_id with an unknown input leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. The product constructs all or part of an SQL command using externally-influenced input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special elements that could modify the intended SQL command when it is sent to a downstream component. SQL injection vulnerability in home/seos/courier/security_key2.api on the Accellion File Transfer Appliance (FTA) before FTA_9_12_40 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary SQL commands via the client_id parameter.
