Details
A vulnerability, which was classified as problematic, has been found in Linux Kernel (Operating System) (the affected version is unknown). This issue affects the function set_ftrace_pid/set_graph_function of the component Function/Stack Tracer. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a null pointer dereference vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-476. A NULL pointer dereference occurs when the application dereferences a pointer that it expects to be valid, but is NULL, typically causing a crash or exit. Impacted is availability.
