Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in the RPC adapter for the Web 2.0 and Mobile toolkit in IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS) 8.5 before 8.5.0.2 allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via a crafted response.
The weakness was presented 04/15/2013 as swg1PM83402 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at www-01.ibm.com. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2013-0565 since 12/16/2012. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available. The attack technique deployed by this issue is T1059.007 according to MITRE ATT&CK.
