The Chrome HUDweb plugin before 2016-05-05 for Fonality (previously trixbox Pro) 12.6 through 14.1i uses the same hardcoded private key across different customers' installations, which allows remote attackers to defeat cryptographic protection mechanisms by leveraging knowledge of this key from another installation.

The weakness was presented 06/20/2016 (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at kb.cert.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2016-2364 since 02/12/2016. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. No form of authentication is needed for exploitation. The technical details are unknown and an exploit is not publicly available.
