Multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in management scripts in Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM) 12.1 before RU6 MP5 allow remote authenticated users to hijack the authentication of arbitrary users.
The bug was discovered 06/28/2016. The weakness was released 06/28/2016 by John Page (hyp3rlinx) as SYM16-011 as confirmed advisory (Website). It is possible to read the advisory at symantec.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2016-3653 since 03/23/2016. The attack may be initiated remotely. A simple authentication is required for exploitation.
