Google Chrome before 27.0.1453.110 on Windows provides an incorrect handle to a renderer process in unspecified circumstances, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service or possibly have other impact via unknown vectors.
The weakness was disclosed 06/04/2013 by Collin Payne (miaubiz) with Stanford University as not defined changelog entry (Website). The advisory is available at googlechromereleases.blogspot.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-2854 since 04/11/2013. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit.
