A vulnerability was found in Crestron AirMedia AM-100 up to 1.4.0.12 and classified as very critical. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the file cgi-bin/rftest.cgi. The manipulation of the argument ATE_COMMAND with the input value .. leads to a command injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-77. Directory traversal vulnerability in cgi-bin/rftest.cgi on Crestron AirMedia AM-100 devices with firmware before 1.4.0.13 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via a .. (dot dot) in the ATE_COMMAND parameter.
