Use-after-free vulnerability in Mozilla Firefox before 21.0, Firefox ESR 17.x before 17.0.6, Thunderbird before 17.0.6, and Thunderbird ESR 17.x before 17.0.6 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via vectors involving an onresize event during the playing of a video.

The weakness was presented 05/23/2013 as 53540 as not defined advisory (Secunia). The advisory is shared for download at secunia.com. The public release was coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2013-1674 since 02/13/2013. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. There are neither technical details nor an exploit publicly available.
