Details
A vulnerability was found in osCommerce 2.3.x (E-Commerce Management Software) and classified as problematic. This issue affects an unknown code block of the file /admin/customers.php. The manipulation of the argument selected_box with the input value %3E%22%3Cscript%3Ealert%28document.cookie%29%3C/script%3E%3Cdiv%20style=%221 leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability (Reflected). Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. Impacted is integrity.
