A vulnerability was found in Business Networking Script 8.11. It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown function of the file /home.php. The manipulation of the argument first_name with the input value '"--></style></Script><Script>alert(1)</Script> leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on integrity.
The weakness was released 01/16/2017 by Ahmet Gurel as EDB-ID 41075 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared at exploit-db.com. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. It demands that the victim is doing some kind of user interaction. Technical details and a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1059.007 for this issue.
