A vulnerability has been found in SolarWinds FTP Voyager 16.2.0 and classified as problematic. This vulnerability affects an unknown code block of the component Scheduler. Multiple cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerabilities in the web interface in the Scheduler in SolarWinds (formerly Serv-U) FTP Voyager 16.2.0 allow remote attackers to hijack the authentication of users for requests that (1) change the admin password, (2) terminate the scheduler, or (3) possibly execute arbitrary commands via crafted requests to Admin/XML/Result.xml.

The bug was discovered 03/09/2017. The weakness was published 03/20/2017 by John Page (hyp3rlinx) as EDB-ID 41574 as not defined exploit (Exploit-DB). The advisory is shared for download at exploit-db.com. This vulnerability was named CVE-2017-6803 since 03/10/2017. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are unknown but a public exploit is available.
