Cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability in Cherry Music before 0.36.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject arbitrary web script or HTML via the playlistname field when creating a new playlist.

The bug was discovered 11/18/2015. The weakness was disclosed 03/27/2017 by feedersec (Website). The advisory is available at fomori.org. This vulnerability is handled as CVE-2015-8310 since 11/20/2015. The attack may be launched remotely. A simple authentication is needed for exploitation. Successful exploitation requires user interaction by the victim. Technical details are known, but there is no available exploit. This vulnerability is assigned to T1059.007 by the MITRE ATT&CK project.
