The weakness was disclosed 08/20/2013 by Christian Jaeger (Cloudfuzzer) with Google Security Team as 257363 (Website). The advisory is shared for download at crbug.com. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-2901 since 04/11/2013. The exploitation appears to be difficult. The attack can be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is required for a successful exploitation. There are known technical details, but no exploit is available.
