IBM WebSphere Portal 6.1, 7.0, and 8.0 allows remote attackers to access the user directory via a crafted request for a servlet, related to the serveServletsByClassnameEnabled setting.

The weakness was disclosed 08/21/2013 as 1647344 as confirmed bulletin (Website). The advisory is shared for download at xforce.iss.net. The public release has been coordinated in cooperation with the vendor. This vulnerability is traded as CVE-2013-3016 since 04/12/2013. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploitation doesn't require any form of authentication. Technical details are unknown but an exploit is available. The MITRE ATT&CK project declares the attack technique as T1068.
