with an unknown input leads to a path traversal vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-22. The product uses external input to construct a pathname that is intended to identify a file or directory that is located underneath a restricted parent directory, but the product does not properly neutralize special elements within the pathname that can cause the pathname to resolve to a location that is outside of the restricted directory. On Cisco DDR2200 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway DDR2200B-NA-AnnexA-FCC-V00.00.03.45.4E and DDR2201v1 ADSL2+ Residential Gateway DDR2201v1-NA-AnnexA-FCC-V00.00.03.28.3 devices, there is directory traversal in the filename parameter to the /download.conf URI.
