A vulnerability was found in Oracle Java SE, JRockit and JavaFX up to 5.0u51/6u60/7u40 (Programming Language Software). It has been classified as problematic. This affects an unknown part of the component Javadoc. The manipulation with an unknown input leads to a cross site scripting vulnerability. CWE is classifying the issue as CWE-80. The product receives input from an upstream component, but it does not neutralize or incorrectly neutralizes special characters such as "<", ">", and "&" that could be interpreted as web-scripting elements when they are sent to a downstream component that processes web pages. This is going to have an impact on integrity. The summary by CVE is:
Unspecified vulnerability in Oracle Java SE 7u40 and earlier, Java SE 6u60 and earlier, Java SE 5.0u51 and earlier, JRockit R28.2.8 and earlier, JRockit R27.7.6 and earlier, and JavaFX 2.2.40 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to affect integrity via unknown vectors related to Javadoc.
