The manipulation of the argument id as part of a Parameter leads to a sql injection vulnerability. Using CWE to declare the problem leads to CWE-89. FS Linkedin Clone 1.0 has SQL Injection via the group.php grid parameter, profile.php fid parameter, or company_details.php id parameter.

The bug was discovered 12/11/2017. The weakness was published 12/13/2017 (Website). The advisory is shared at packetstormsecurity.com. The identification of this vulnerability is CVE-2017-17580 since 12/13/2017. The exploitation is known to be easy. The attack may be initiated remotely. No form of authentication is needed for a successful exploitation. Technical details as well as a public exploit are known. MITRE ATT&CK project uses the attack technique T1505 for this issue.

The exploit is available at exploit-db.com. It is declared as proof-of-concept. The vulnerability was handled as a non-public zero-day exploit for at least 2 days. During that time the estimated underground price was around $0-$5k. By approaching the search of inurl:group.php it is possible to find vulnerable targets with Google Hacking.
