A vulnerability has been found in Evernote 5.5.0 on Android (Android App Software) and classified as critical. The ADB backup functionality requires an Android device running the Ice-Cream Sandwich version of Android (4.x) or above.
The bug was discovered 05/01/2013. The weakness was released 12/07/2013 by Chris John Riley as confirmed blog post (Blog). The advisory is available at blog.c22.cc. The public release was coordinated with the vendor. This vulnerability was named CVE-2013-5116 since 08/13/2013. Local access is required to approach this attack.
