of the file libavformat/ipmovie.c of the component Uninitialized Memory Handler. The manipulation of the argument OPCODE_CREATE_TIMER

The weakness was shared 12/14/2013 by Mateusz Jurczyk and Gynvael Coldwind with Google Security Team as avformat/ipmovie: Check OPCODE_CREATE_TIMER size as confirmed git commit (GIT Repository). The advisory is available at git.videolan.org. The vendor cooperated in the coordination of the public release. The exploitation is known to be difficult. The attack may be launched remotely.
