An issue was discovered on WAGO e!DISPLAY 762-3000 through 762-3003 devices with firmware before FW 02. The vulnerability allows an authenticated user to upload arbitrary files to the file system with the permissions of the web server.
The bug was discovered 07/11/2018. The weakness was disclosed 07/12/2018 as not defined mailinglist post (Full-Disclosure). The advisory is shared at seclists.org. This vulnerability is uniquely identified as CVE-2018-12980 since 06/28/2018. The exploitability is told to be easy. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely.
